The impressive fortified complex features a square-based tower attached to a palace. Over the centuries, the Rocca has undergone various restoration campaigns until it was acquired by the Municipality in 1980, restored, and opened to the public to be admired in all its splendour. Other interesting historical sites in Suvereto include the Church of San Giusto, the Church of Madonna di Sopra la Porta, and the former Convent of San Francesco, whose cloister has been preserved intact to this day.
